Do you listen to life\u2019s whisper?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Up until recently\u2026 I couldn\u2019t hear it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Or should I say\u2026 I wouldn\u2019t listen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I had to learn things the hard way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And I fought against it REAL HARD. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But life is stronger, always. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s very humbling, and I got the message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And then the question you can ask yourself is\u2026 do you really want things to be this hard?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some part of you loves it. Loves feeling strong. Like you can do it, like you can take it, like you\u2019re a survivor, like you can prove to yourself and to others that you\u2019ve been through things they couldn\u2019t even imagine going through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I know some part of me loved it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because before anything blows up, there are always hints. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
No one else but you chooses to ignore the signs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now I can hear it, and it has been the greatest gift of all, choosing to listen to the faintest little whisper and just following it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I don\u2019t need things to be hard anymore for me to have \u201cearned\u201d them or for them to be valuable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
